Fields of Gold
This is my first large canvas. I have done other large pieces before but for this one I used a base material that reminded me of feed bags. It presented some obstacles. Seems like a success with mixed media layers. The *Fields of Gold* collection began as reflection of the field across the road from the family farm & has transformed into analysis of the general population’s disconnect of healthy food production.

A Weekend Away
I am having my morning coffee and basking in the glow of an amazing weekend that feels like it may be THE transformation & artistic awakening that I did not know I was searching for. Can’t wait to start writing and truly processing the Artist Ranch Project. Thank you Calgary Stampede for a truly magnificent weekend!
